the prize draw

banned or censored books on display in the Meadow Lake Library have
not been banned from this library – however, at various
times they have been removed from other bookstores, libraries or
school shelves

Headquarters Closed for Family Day
Lakeland Library Region headquarters will be closed Monday February 15 for the Family Day holiday
Regular office hours will resume on Tuesday February 16.

Come listen to Carpenter High Students Debate the pros and cons of censoring Mark Twain's Huckleberry Finn on Thursday, February 25 from 7:00pm to 8:30pm

Read Canadian poetry for February
Join
us at the Meadow Lake Library one Saturday a month (November - April)
as we get together and discuss Canadian books! Each month we will
read a different genre of Canadian literature. We will wrap it up
with a party afternoon of favourite Canadian books and food!
The February meeting is Saturday, February 27 from 1:00pm to 2:30
pm

us as we discuss the Canadian poetry we all read!

St. Walburg Library is now pre-booking tables for its upcoming garage sale to be held Friday, March 12, 2010 from 1:00pm to 4:00pm.
